Daytona USA is the official attraction of NASCAR. It is located just outside Daytona International
Speedway.This is a fascinating attraction where one can get behind-the-scenes video and film perspectives and a
variety of racing exhibits and activities. Tours out onto the speedway itself are available. Car buffs may also
consider visiting the Klassix Auto Museum where they will find vintage vehicles on display including an impressive
collections of Corvettes.
The Daytona Beach area has a variety of golf courses and is home to the Ladies Professional Golf
Association (LPGA).
To the south is the impressive red-brick, Ponce de Leon Inlet lighthouse. This 175 foot lighthouse
was built in 1887 and still functions today. The grounds contain a marine museum and restored keeper's cottages.
