Hollywood star Burt Reynolds even once called Jupiter his Florida home.

Jupiter History

In the early days, the area was inhabited by the Jega and Hobe Indians. Beginning around 1550 the area has served as a prominent location for guiding ships. During the early part of the 20th century logging, fishing, pineapples and citrus were important factors for the economy.
